Now that you have all your RTTY windows configured, let’s create some messages to send during the contest. It’s located in C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Afreet\Products\GRITTY. Before shutting down for the summer everything was working great. After having some fun with SmartLink and then the spectrum display in N1MM+, I turned my attention to RTTY Skimmer Server. I purposely created a Gritty instance in DI1 RX Window 1 to show you that you could have multiple INI files depending on where you activate your receive-only Gritty windows. RTTY Skimmer Server setup (again) After a couple of months of sitting idle for the summer I turned my 6700 on again and promptly upgraded to v2.0.19. I dont know enough about FPGAs to know if the one. Therefore the INI file for that particular instance of Gritty is named Config12.ini (DI 1 RX Window 2) as shown highlighted in Figure 5-12. Has anyone tried one of the Skimmer Server programs with a prototype Hermes-Lite 2.0 The programs worked very well with version 1.22, covering up to 7 x 192-KHz bands at once with a borrowed unit, but of course that was with the BeMicro CVA9 SDK. In our example, we activated Gritty as the second receive-only window, or DI1 RX Window 2. Therefore whenever you create a DI RX Window, a new INI file gets created for that particular instance of Gritty. However, when Gritty is used with N1MM Logger+, there could be several instances of Gritty (remember you can have up to 4 RX DI windows). To find it, search your computer for Gritty.ini.
If you run Gritty as a stand-alone program and not within N1MM Logger+, then the INI file is called Gritty.ini. The only way to change the tone pair in Gritty is to edit the INI file. Gritty works straight out of the box unless you run FSK with low tones or a tone pair other than 2125/2295 Hz.

Processes and filters the spots in a number of ways determined by the operator. For that reason, it has become a popular “receive only” decoder since being incorporated into N1MM Logger+ in 2015. be CW Skimmer, Skimmer Server, RTTY Skimmer Server, RCKskimmer, or an external program which in turn connects to other spot sources.
